I am always amazed at the faithfulness of God.
Most people know 2011 wasn’t a great year for me and concluded with me–after praying for about 2 1/2 years–to leave the familiar in an Abraham like call from God to go somewhere I a have never been before.
Picked up with mom getting arrested–again–at the end of January and my car breaking down this past Thursday.
In the midst of all of this, the Lord–through the voices of doubt, anger, confession and fear–called me to go to Cleveland, Ohio and speak at Ignite 2012.
I brought nothing with me but a Word from the Lord. I couldn’t get a sense of how the Lord was working the entire weekend. I was truly walking by faith and not by sight.
But God was so faithful. Student and staff testimonies are continuing to pour in of how He met with them this past weekend. I spoke three times, but the Lord spoke for three days.
Interestingly, what I could not find in Austin, somehow fell on me in Ohio…
a peace that is surpassing my understanding.
I am so grateful.
